Week 11: August 27th
Do You Thirst?
By: Kaleigh Hoschar
Pastor Theo really brought a good word this last weekend.
We talked about thirst and how lack of water affects our body and our spirit.
We sang “Do you thirst for a drink from the well? Jesus is calling”.
Do you thirst, Church?
Are you bringing others to the well that never runs dry?
I remember about a week ago I was at the beach with my husband and I felt it. A deep desire to put my feet in the water and physically feel even one moment of a vast sea.
Living water, church. Do we yearn to touch it, absorb it, share it? Can there be room in your life to unadulteratedly dive into the depth of the living water God has for us? Can we be so on fire to share with the grocery store clerk, the person mowing the grass, the teacher, the volunteer, your family?
Your Oikos?
John 7: 38 says “The one who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, will have streams of living water flow from deep within him.”
Like a well. Is your well dry? Or is it overflowing so much that it touches those around you?
I challenge you today to dive into it and share it with others!
