Call to Me, and I Will Answer
By: Pastor Shane Beauvais
Seeking God in prayer is much more than just expressing our needs and petitions.
Jeremiah 29:13 contains a powerful promise. “You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart." In Jeremiah 33:3, the Lord says, "Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and wondrous things you do not know."
God desires us to seek Him in prayer as it deepens our connection with Him. While He remains in control regardless of our actions, prayer enriches our lives by bringing us peace and reminding us of His truths.
Prayer is an invitation to trust the Lord. It is a time to commune and correspond with the Lord, engaging in a reciprocating relationship with Him. Prayer helps us focus our thoughts and attention, allowing us to notice God's presence and deepen our relationship with Him.
How will we recognize His work if we never seek it? How will we experience answered prayer if we never ask?
As believers, our relationship with God is extraordinary. Let's cherish it by deepening our connection with our Lord and Savior through prayer. Seek Him, and you will find Him; call to Him, and He will answer you!
