Intent
By: Kaleigh Hoschar
Did you know that because of Jesus we can come boldly to prayer?
“His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.” -Ephesians 3:10-12
In the beginning God created us to come boldly to prayer and relationship with Him. His relationship with Adam and Eve WAS perfect.
And then it wasn’t.
It was broken.
Like a crumbling and desolate path in need of repair.
Or a jar shattered on the ground.
Or a failed marriage.
Or a broken down car.
Or kids that won’t stop rebelling.
Or finances that won’t get right.
OR the words of the World that say you aren’t good enough, pretty enough, smart enough or funny enough. And the list. GOES. ON.
But what if you shut out the noise for a moment. And recognize God’s. Intent. When He gave us His son. An intent that says,
“Look at how much I love you….talk to me.”
I challenge you and me to go boldly to the throne of God with confidence in what He has done.
