An Eternal Love
By: Chrissy Cooney
Revelation 21:3
He loves me…
He loves me not…
When I was a little girl and had a crush on a boy, my girlfriends and I used to play a game where we would pick a daisy and pull of one petal at a time, each petal representing a guess –
He loves me…
He loves me not…
The last petal would indicate the final verdict, whether or not the boy shared the crush.
I’m so glad we don’t have to guess when it comes to our Creator God. We don’t have to wonder if He loves us because He lays it out in his Word for all to hear and understand. He loves us with an everlasting love, He chooses us and wants to be in a forever relationship with us.
“And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, ‘Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.’” Revelation 21:3
He loves us.
He loves us enough to want to walk and talk and share moments with us for eternity. He chooses to reside with us infinitely. To dwell with us for unending time. He won’t change his mind or lose interest. He loves us with an eternal love, a love that never dies, never grows old, never ends.
